In a universe, not so far away, Cisco stands apart.
Last month we participated in the very first Omdia Universe: Smart Collaboration Devices study. This new study, led by Prachi Nema – Principal Analyst Unified Communication and Collaboration, Omdia – was a comprehensive evaluation of the major video conferencing and collaboration device manufacturers.
We at Cisco are delighted that Omdia have positioned us as the clear leader in their assessment, leading in market share, solution capabilities, and strategy and execution – see chart above:
Omdia’s evaluation was based on in-depth research, including a detailed request for information, product demonstrations, and vendor briefings.
The process examined everything IT decision-makers care about when building out video-enabled meeting spaces simplifying room deployments, platform flexibility and interoperability, AI-powered features that improve audio and video quality, and device manageability at scale.
Cisco stood out for:
- The breadth and quality of our portfolio, covering a range of different room sizes with flexible support for both Webex and Microsoft Teams.
- A range of capabilities to support ease of deployment, management, analytics, sustainability, and customization.
- Intuitive, AI-powered user experiences, powered by Cisco RoomOS software and NVIDIA GPU technology.
- Our end-to-end offering encompassing collaboration, networks, security, and manageability with deep integrations with workplace systems like room booking, occupancy sensors, and environmental controls.
I’m grateful to have been part of the team that pulled our response together. This amazing result reflects the truly inspiring work done by our engineers, product managers, user experience designers, and go-to-market teams across the world. Together, they have created a portfolio of smart collaboration devices that are helping organizations future-proof their workplaces and help people and teams do their best work together.
